Fans of baseball and a lot of other persons seem to be anxious by results of voting for the Hall of Fame. Some amazing players have not been elected for the Baseball Hall of Fame. It is not surprisingly that you also ask why they have not been elected. Under guidelines of voting, those that have demonstrated great baseball abilities and contributed to their teams substantially should be elected. Undoubtedly, such baseball players, as Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro, Mark McGwire and several other sportsmen have demonstrated great abilities and accomplishments while playing professionally. Why are they kept out of the Baseball Hall of Fame?
Many voters state that they will never support those that have ever been linked to steroids and/or other doping products. Dopers should get penalty. Future generations should realize that they will never actually succeed, if they administer doping products.
What would you do, if you were a member of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America? Would you support consumers of steroids?
In fact, voters never possess complete information about admitted and suspected consumers of steroids. You can’t prove that Roger Clemens has really administered performance-enhancing drugs. A lot of persons have suspicions but there is no any proof. How may voters refuse to support him? Are they sure that he has administered anabolic steroids and other banned drugs? –No, they aren’t. That’s why it is unfair to keep Roger Clemens out of the Baseball Hall of Fame just because of suspicions.
While some voters are ready to support suspected steroid users, they claim that they will never vote for an admitted consumer of steroids. However it seems to be right, let analyze the situation better! Have steroids played any essential role in success of certain baseball player? For example, if even Roger Clemens has applied performance-enhancing drugs, it is possible to convince anyone that he has succeeded not because of steroid use. Amazing accomplishment of this well-known baseball player have been manifested before his alleged steroid use. According to several affirmations, Roger Clemens has taken steroids since 1998 and then in 2000 and 2001. But the most amazing achievements have been done by him before 1998. So, no one can state that steroids have helped Roger Clemens to succeed in professional baseball. That’s why he should be elected for the Hall of Fame.
Moreover, why are a lot of persons inclined to demonize just dopers? Isn’t it the society that presses sportspeople to start applying steroids and other related drugs?
