A suspended fighter should convince the CSAC that steroids represent evil in order to fight again

Josh “The Babyfaced Assassin” Barnett, a former American mixed martial artist and wrestler, has received a conditional license by the California State Athletic Commission in order to fight. This athlete tested positive for the anabolic steroid which is celebrated as “Masteron”. It was in June, 2009. His two urine samples demonstrated that Josh Barnett had taken this prohibited drug. It was before his fight against Fedor Emelianenko that had to be on August 1, 2009. As a result of his positive, this athlete was pushed out of  the event and sentenced to a suspension. Thus, this athlete forfeited his license.
This mixed martial artist didn’t admit to intake of steroids or other related substances knowingly. It was the 2nd  time, when this athlete claimed that he had never applied steroids knowingly.
Several years ago this person tested positive for steroids as well. After his participation in Las Vegas at UFC 36 in March 2002 he tested positive for metabolites of certain prohibited products. Thus, he forfeited his UFC Heavyweight title.
Josh Barnett was suspended for 6 months by the Nevada Athletic Commission. Shortly after he was sentenced to suspension he left the USA for Japan. This athlete fought there for circa 5 years. Then he came back home. During his defense this person blamed  a dietary supplement which was sold legally. Josh Barnett said that he had used that supplement in 2002. It was included in the list of the controlled substances later, in 2004. This fighter claimed that it had been legal, when he had used it.
Several people were wondered that the CSAC granted Barnett a license to fight again. This athlete has never admitted that he had applied steroids.
This mixed martial artist  claimed that a banned athlete had to talk publicly about evils of steroids in order to be involved in competitions again.
Josh Barnett was able to convince the commission that he thought that steroids represented significant evil. He asked whether they ever discussed that steroids were bad.
