Rampage Jackson says that steroids have changed him

The mixed martial artist and actor Quinton “Rampage” Jackson told about benefits of the steroid testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He said about his decision to use testosterone, about its effects on increase of muscle size, his bodyweight and his sexuality. He pronounced these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
The UFC champion was openly talking about his decision to find a health care provider who could prescribe him testosterone replacement therapy. He mentioned honestly because he thought that testosterone didn’t belong to anabolic steroids.  Rampage Jackson noted that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. Thus, he was mistaken, considering that testosterone is not an anabolic steroid.
Actually, use of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a controversial issue. Testosterone is applied legally in case of hypogonadism (reduced testosterone production). Thus, mixed martial artists who suffer from this illness can receive a therapeutic use exemption that permits to utilize the steroid testosterone legally.
But the problem that is widely discussed is whether the sportsperson that administers therapeutic measure of testosterone can obtain unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of athletes who have got a therapeutic use exemption for usage of testosterone for therapeutic purposes deny getting any enhancement of performance because of testosterone replacement therapy.
As for Jackson, he admitted that testosterone replacement therapy had increased his muscle size, speeded his recovery from his injuries and improved his sexual abilities. Jackson noticed that he had experienced a knee injury. After he had used 3 measures of testosterone, the knee was healed. He added bodyweight and muscle mass. He claimed that small quantities of the steroid testosterone had caused evident changes in him. His sexuality was improved significantly; he began to feel as if he had been only 25.
Rampage Jackson blamed steroids for his impossibility to lose weight in order to meet criteria of the 206lb weight class.
Jackson confirms that he doesn’t violate any law. He takes testosterone and confirms that it is legitimately.
He claims that he is glad that he takes testosterone.
