Pathologists don’t investigate everything carefully in order to determine causes of death

The pathologist Georgina Howarth affirmed that the death of Mohammed Belkhair, a 19-year boy, had been caused by usage of anabolic steroids. She noted that anabolic steroids had led to heart failure which had resulted in the death.
According to the doctor Howarth, if this boy had not administered steroids, he would have lived today. She affirmed that intake of steroids was the only reason of the death. The pathologist noted that the death of this boy was a lesson for every person to be far from such medicines.
Mohammed Belkhair’s sister found him vomiting in his bedroom on May, 2011. The teenager acknowledged that he had taken steroids. He died at the same day. It was reported that steroids had been found in his system.
According to many articles, DHEA and Tamoxifen were two steroids that were found in the system of the guy. DHEA is sold overall in Britain and in the USA.
But in fact, the news is misleading. Tamoxifen doesn’t belong to anabolic steroids. This product has been originally elaborated to treat individuals that have breast cancer. It has become popular among sportspersons and bodybuilders that apply steroids due to its capacity to prevent aromatization of other medications.
It seems to be curiously but nothing was noted about arrest of Mohammed Belkhair. This condition might contribute in his death. This boy was arrested on the night before his death by police officials. 4 types of anabolic steroids were found in his room. But the names of the steroids were not mentioned.
Although the police encounter and arrest occurred several hours before the death of this teenager, the doctor Georgina Howarth didn’t investigate these factors. Moreover, she didn’t provide any explanation about this aspect. Police officers revealed nothing too.
Since it was announced that Mohammed Belkhair had bought steroids online, the news related to dangers of purchasing steroids via internet were spread in the country. Thus, it turned out to be convenient for changing the laws in order to make ordering of steroids online illegal in Britain. The British government desires to make personal importation of steroids per mail and per internet criminal. It will be in near future. Although it is believed that these laws will be enacted before the Olympics, they are not still enacted.
