It is necessary to make some changes in society in order to keep youth from steroid use

American youth idolize their sports stars. They have already numerous such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of today: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Youth observe and repeat their every move.
Isn’t it dangerous to idolize sports stars of nowadays? It may be risky. Nowadays sports heroes obtain millions of dollars because of steroid use. However the NFL and the MLB fight against doping, the war seems to lack success. Intake of steroids like cancer destructs sports. However American youth are educated about severe unwanted symptoms of these preparations, the results are not satisfactory.
It is said that youth are suppressed to use steroids. They put efforts to meet the required criteria of college admission; they idolize current professional athletes. The all these aspects induce applying steroids.
Of course, all parents desire their children to be successful. If children go info sports, their parents desire them to win and to continue to play professionally. Children realize that it is difficult to do it. Which are the consequences? The pressure influences greatly on American youth.  Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they need to lie in order to have success. College admission levels have been reduced because of budget cuts. The Recovery Place claims that it may cause the situation, when high school students will look for alternative methods to have ability to stand out among crowds. Doping can seem for teenagers to be the best alternative way.
American youth observe that many professional sportspeople have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and intensive workouts; others used steroids and other related medications. If American youth act like those who dope, which will be the results?
Prolonged usage of steroids can lead to addiction to these medications.  Moreover, steroid users may experience such adverse results, as liver disorders, cancer, hypertension, icterus, kidney disorders and bad cholesterol. These negative results are considered to be serious; they may threaten to life.
Of course, parents don’t want to see their children with health problems. They want their children to reach goals due to devotion to sports and intensive trainings. But it is difficult to do it because many others cheat, applying steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These medicines shouldn’t disturb to achieve our goals.

Don’t be mistaken! The steroid era for baseball is not over!

There is a topic that causes hot discussions. Especially baseball fans are excited, when they hear about steroids and their impact on this sport. Thus, if you want to cause hot debates, you only need to notice that certain baseball stars win due to steroid use.
Various individuals have various opinions, when it comes to the topic about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to understand why some people who are involved in baseball apply steroids. Do they play baseball just for money? Are they so blinded by money and other awards that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those who don’t dope and win due to natural talents. Those deserve respect, honor and awards that are not lured to dope for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that consumers of steroids must not be elected for the Hall of Fame. This factor represents attempt to avoid shame related to the steroid era. You may see efforts to leave all unpleasant effects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to blame steroid users mean that the steroid era is over? In fact, a wrong perception is created here. The steroid era is not over. Those that believe that blaming steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everyone knows that numerous players of baseball have used anabolic steroids and other related preparations. Moreover, nobody doubts that nowadays there are such players of baseball who continue to take prohibited products. Numerous people discuss whether a player with average skills can transform in a great player due to usage of banned drugs. Several individuals claim that without appropriate talents steroids do not profit. Talents should present. Others don’t agree with this statement. They claim that steroids can enhance performance whatever talent an athlete has.
But the problem is that we blame players who dope alone. But not only sportspeople should be blamed for the steroid era. Everybody knows what happens actually during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era is over. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Intake of steroids is still deeply in the soul of baseball. Decisive efforts must present to be convinced that doping doesn’t affect baseball anymore.

Amateur baseball players are taught about risks connected with doping

The Major League Baseball put efforts to stop using steroids. It wants to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be capable to achieve the big show. One of the locations where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly observed is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic want to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. Thus, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unluckily, a lot of individuals are lured to administrate steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs to reach their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country in which many people take steroids and other medicines that enhance performance. That’s why a sportsperson from this location is asked whether he has used steroids or other related preparations. Undoubtedly, this individual confirms that he has never doped because tests are performed and anybody fears to be caught taking any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. Thus, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur athletes from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to punish those who dope.
It is reported that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is essentially higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB puts significant efforts to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about risks for their health linked with steroids. They are educated about negative reactions that can be provoked by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this situation. The average wage is approximately 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To obtain a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a true achievement for any Dominican. That’s why sportspersons from the Dominican Republic are especially lured to dope for such perspectives. They want to get a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They want to get it for well-being of their families and for improvement of their lives in future. Obtaining a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal conditions of life, from travelling by public transport to driving own car.
In fact, steroid use is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a problem which destroys the whole world. No one athlete may be sure whether he competes against an individual who has natural skills and talents or against a person who takes steroids and other related preparations. That’s why it is important to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth must be taught about risks related to doping not just in the Dominican Republic or just in the U. S. but everywhere.

Motivations for playing baseball

The Major League Baseball survived certain baffling periods of time. It endured two situations which are considered to be two world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Today the MLB experiences steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be able to endure this period as well. There was a case that had an essential influence on baseball as well. It was the case related to Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB that applied performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, he is not the last of them. Numerous baseball players have applied forbidden medications to promote performance. Many players of baseball have gotten praise and millions of dollars due to administration of prohibited medicines.
The sums of money that can be obtained justify the dangers connected with usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players that administrate banned medications don’t care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about getting money. Such individuals are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans who try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot discussions about the steroid era in baseball.
Nobody doubts that any baseball player who uses steroids corrupts his honor. It is made only for money. Such person trades own honor just for obtaining money.
Nevertheless, it is believed that future of baseball is light. A lot of baseball players have talents and appropriate skills; they train intensively and devote themselves wholly to this sport. They are honest people. They keep their reputation. Such individuals love baseball truthfully. They don’t worry only about money. Such baseball players are motivated by truthful love to baseball.
Generally, the MLB is against steroids. But unluckily, there are individuals in each sport that take unfair advantage due to administration of steroids.
Our hope is light: we think that the day comes, when we’ll observe sportspeople who compete not because of doping but due to natural talents, skills and intensive workouts.

You read about steroids everywhere

The theme related to steroids appears everywhere. It is widely discussed by many individuals. Everyday a lot of articles report about these products. You read news that report about persons that use steroids. You read about those who are caught distributing steroids and sentenced to probation or prison. However steroids are recommended for numerous patients to treat them from several diseases, intake of these products for increase of performance is more widely spread. It seems that it destroy the whole world.
Many persons are controlled by money. If they can get money due to distribution or usage of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the steroid laws. They use and distribute these medicines, although they are considered to be illicit in several countries. Many persons violate steroid laws because they may earn money, selling and/or using steroids.
It is undoubtedly that you have read some articles about wrestlers that have taken banned drugs for many years. Some of consumers died of sudden attacks, being young. But nobody wants to acknowledge that fatal cases happen due to steroids. A lot of people deny connections between dangerous diseases and intake of steroids.
The Major League Baseball desires to escape from steroid era. We hope that the time comes, when baseball will be played without drugs and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to medicines that have performance-enhancing effects.
It is impossible to be sure that you comprehend how wide spread intake of banned medicines is in professional and non-professional sports. Steroid use by competitive sportspersons is cheating. If athletes use preparations which enhance performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any steroid user who goes info sports should recognize whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she should have another job. Each individual must do the job he/she really is able to do. So, if you are not able to play football, you must choose another job.
There is a hope that administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be pushed out of sports. It may be that this time will be soon in the future. Who knows?

Do steroid laws influence significantly on athletes that take steroids?

The laws which ban intake of anabolic steroids have appeared due to certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread usage of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies thought that prohibition of steroids would keep professional sportspeople far from administration of illegal medications. But criminalization of steroids influenced on administration of steroids by competitive sportspersons slightly.
The steroid laws usually do not prosecute sportspeople who use illegal products. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspeople and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to consequences of breaking these laws.
This is not just one’s point of view. This is reality. Let recognize: who is sentenced to imprisonment because of distributing steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama received 5-month imprisonment because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a physician. Actually, this individual wasn’t the target of a steroid investigation. He just turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this physician said to federal investigators that her husband was implicated in operations of black steroid market. Thus, the statement of this woman caused the situation, when the doctor was investigated.
Actually, Ashley Rivers was a dealer of steroids for short period of time. This man provided these medicines to his friends of his gym. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, noted that his client had understood his guilty wholly and taken the total responsibility for his illegal operations.  The attorney claimed that Rivers was a good person. However he broke the steroid laws, he recognized the risks and admitted to his guilty.
James Robinson asked the judge to sentence his client just to probation.  Ashley Rivers cared about his wheelchair-bound wife, 2 adopted children  and 3 children of his disabled brother. Furthermore, Rivers gave about 40, 000 dollars for people that lost their homes due to tornadoes. It would be better, if Rivers Ashley were sentenced to probation. This person would continue to work for his family and other individuals.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, rejected the request of James Robinson. He confirmed that this person committed a serious crime and he must serve time in jail. Although the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney James Robinson  at the beginning, finally he decided to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Ashley Rivers to 5-month imprisonment.
You may observe that steroid laws have just a slight influence on professional sportspeople.

Jose Canseco has stopped taking steroids some years ago

Jose Canseco is a Cuban-American former player of the Major League Baseball. He was banned for administration of steroids. This player wrote a book “Juiced” in which he claimed that numerous players of the MLB used steroids.
Now he has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. He has proclaimed about his dreams to play in the MLB again. Jose Canseco has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
This person has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. This person was probably blackballed by baseball because of his comments related to steroids and presented in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”.  He has called himself the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these substances in baseball. This baseball player openly admitted in his book that he had used anabolic steroids and other medicines that have performance-enhancing effects. The author of the book mentioned also names of other baseball players who took steroids. Such baseball players, as  Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were identified by Jose Canseco.
However anabolic steroids can be purchased without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are prohibited in MLB.
According to certain sources, Jose Canseco will be tested for forbidden medicines by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
The former baseball player claims that he has stopped using steroids certain years ago. According to certain sources, since stopping taking steroids it had been indicated testosterone replacement therapy for him to cure certain problems connected with low level of testosterone.
Jose Canseco said that he had had some negative reactions because of administration of steroids. Thus, his doctor had to prescribe him a testosterone gel to relieve from low sex drive and depression.
While Jose Canseco tried to restore his natural production of testosterone, he got several troubles with laws. He was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing HCG at the international border. Jose Canseco’s house was raided by police officials but no any steroids were discovered.
Although Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he put efforts to continue playing baseball professionally.

Usage of steroids by fighters can increase harms which are usually caused in MMA

Certain mixed martial artists have publicly admitted that they use anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that has been prescribed by health care providers. The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic commission (NSAC) Keith Kizer confirms that this factor has created a perception among many individuals that steroid exemptions are given to allow MMA fighters to use the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting the executive director of the NSAC said that some people thought that any fighter could obtain exemptions for intake of testosterone. He noted that he couldn’t say it about other states but he described the situation in Nevada. According to Kizer,  it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption  will be approved.
TRT is a therapy which is required for adult males who have hypogonadism (reduced testosterone levels). If sportspeople correspond to the medical criteria, they may be allowed to take steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for those who want to get a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for administration of steroids. A sportsperson must show the document that displays that blood levels of testosterone are low.  But if an athlete has low level of testosterone, it is not sufficient to obtain a TUE. Treating doctors must identify reasons and medical conditions. The details connected with testosterone replacement therapy should be identified by doctors too. Each detail should manifest that certain sportsperson should  take testosterone for medical purposes and administration of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the athlete.
Some top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have taken steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson belong to the starts of the UFC who take steroids for clinical needs.
Keith Kizer, the executive director of the NSAC claims that ban of steroids makes MMA safer. He adds that if a fighter takes steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is used knuckles that are hidden inside gloves.  Thus, this is not just cheating. This aspect is linked with risks for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will know it, this person will say you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such fighter takes steroids.
No one doubts that administration of steroids has potential risks to enhance the harm which can occur in MMA.

A boy that has been injected with steroids by his father doesn’t have interest to communicate with him

James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. He wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
Corey Gahan became an inline skating champion at the national level. This boy won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also won the 2nd  place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
The father of Corey pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his little son. This person cooperated with a trainer from Florida in order to provide his son with testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. He was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he was sentenced to 6 years in jail.
Since James Gahan had already served his time in a prison, he was released. He began to confirm that his attitude to steroids and other forbidden medicines had been changed totally. James Gahan discussed with high school athletes about risks related to steroid use. It was a part of his community service to which this person had  been ordered by the court.
This individual noted nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his 13-year old son. This person noticed just about own experiences with these medications. He noticed that if someone wanted to see undesirable consequences of anabolic steroids, he might manifest them because he used these medicines. James Gahan mentioned that he used 45 pills per day and his insides had eroded.
Actually, he didn’t explain what he meant, confirming that his insides had eroded because of steroids. He didn’t say anything about his illness which required 45 pills daily!
James said about his son Corey that he had known everything they had done. But he added that since he was the father, he took the complete responsibility upon himself. But James Gahan concluded that it would be better for Corey to admit that he had lied.
But Corey doesn’t desire to talk to his father who has given him steroids. Earlier he has said that his father has never been sorry for giving steroids to him; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

Doping by Colin Daynes

The Greco-Roman wrestler Colin Daynes was going to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. Unfortunately, his dreams will not be real. Usage of prohibited medicines caused this unpleasant case. This wrestler was caught taking steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier this wrestler won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports proclaimed that Colin Daynes had tested positive for such forbidden drugs, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone are anabolic steroids that are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. When it comes to Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This product is usually used in combinations with certain others to reduce fluid retention. Furosemide or Lasix belongs to the class of diuretics. Wrestlers administrate this preparation as well as other diuretics to lose body weight in order to correspond to requirements of certain weight categories.
Colin Daynes acknowledged that he had used anabolic steroids and other prohibited products intentionally. This wrestler noticed that he had taken these preparations to receive recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury.  But Colin Daynes added that he hadn’t known that these drugs were banned by the WADA. Daynes blamed his health care provider for this aspect. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic physician who recommended him using these medicines. The wrestler noted that if he had known that the medicines were banned, he would not have competed.
Colin Daynes represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he wanted to compete at the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t participate in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify internationally. Recently he won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and was scheduled to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to administration of prohibited medications Colin Daynes has been sentenced to 2-year ban. It means that colin Daynes is not permitted to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends too.
Colin Daynes confirmed that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people could judge him, if they wanted to do it after his 25-year successful career and everything he had done.

The case against Armstrong was announced to be closed

The case against Lance Armstrong connected with doping is announced to be closed. He remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors tried to determine whether this cyclist and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The length of the investigation has been approximately 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has taken prohibited preparations. The accusations against this cyclist threatened not only to his athletic career but also to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that Lance Armstrong took steroids were in vain.
Armstrong claimed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office made a decision to close the investigation. He confirmed that it was a right decision. Armstrong concluded that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
Andre Birote, an attorney proclaimed during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation connected with the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t notice about any reason of this decision. But he just said that certain previous similar investigations were also closed.
For example, the investigation linked with Barry Bonds was considered to be less-than-successful. Prosecutors couldn’t prove that this athlete had lied about usage of steroids. As for the case related to Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge proclaimed about previous mistrial.
Investigators suspected that a doping program was organized by Armstrong’s team. They desired to define whether it was so as they thought. Authorities investigated whether Armstrong encouraged or promoted doping.
Actually, prosecutors tried to define whether Lance Armstrong and his team violated federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Armstrong was not required to testify before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with usage of forbidden preparations. They claimed that they were shocked by the decision to close the case. They added that such situations happened due to money and corruption.

Truth about steroids and Lyle Alzado’s death

Tge Wisconsin University professor Norm Fost claims about certain common misconceptions related to anabolic steroids. However certain experts note about severe and even fatal unwanted effects of anabolic steroids, the physician Fost denies these statements, confirming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But affirmations of this expert are not so often quoted by media as statements about serious negative reactions of steroids.  Thus, the message of Norm Fost that steroids aren’t so harmful, as it is believed, is noted once for every 500-time statement that steroids represent a real evil.
Furthermore, editors usually create a wrong perception among readers, writing the quotes of this doctor wrongly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never confirmed that steroids were not harmful at all. It is obvious that these substances can lead to different side consequences. Norm doesn’t deny probability of occurring  undesirable reactions. In fact, this specialist says some other things. This physician notices that possible risks of steroids are significantly exaggerated. This expert denies the affirmation that steroids lead to the rare type of brain cancer. According to certain sources, this led to the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Dr. Fost confirms that there is no any link between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado blamed his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma which finally led to his death. Assertion of this person was the only evidence that supported the link between his administration of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Alzado make public his steroid use, demonizing anabolic steroids for his diseases? Couldn’t you find this fact strange?
Actually, it was said that AIDS had suppressed his immune system and induced destructing his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist said that Lyle Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma which was related to AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado feared that the public would know that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU reported that this football player had had B-cell lymphoma that was not linked with HIV or AIDS.
The doctor DeLoughery explained the situation. He said that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While experts disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer that Alzado had, nobody of them confirmed about links between his brain lymphoma and usage of steroids.

Since Anna Watson didn’t agree to use steroids, she didn’t get a modeling contract

Anna Watson, an university cheerleader of Georgia, noticed that she was pressured to administrate steroids to get a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent indicated her to use Anavar in order to obtain needed 50 pounds of muscles. This person was tempted but finally she refused to take steroids. This lady claimed that her body was “a temple” and she wouldn’t affect it.
This person claimed that she had been tempted by administration of steroids numerous times. The agent made everything to present steroids as something good.
It was noticed that she would get a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she apply steroids and gain 50 pounds of muscles. This lady said that she talked to Elite Model Management representatives in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such super-models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson  has chosen to be better a cheerleader at the University than to be implicated in the glamorous world. Moreover, this lady rejected steroid use because this aspect wasn’t in harmony with her religious principles. She noticed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but the Lord. She added that she had been created as a nice creation. This lady concluded that she wouldn’t violate her moral and religious principles just to take photos. This lady  decided not to destroy her health.
Certain questions appear, reading these affirmations. One can ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models that have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw people’s attention by taking advantage of negative attitude to steroids?
It is obvious that if Anna Watson gains 50 pounds of muscles, she will be capable to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Sportspersons know that such sums of money are not received easily even in sports. But can such large sum of money be obtained from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Women that are involved in bodybuilding compete greatly to receive prize money. Women with muscular appearance are more likely to obtain money from “schmoes” (males who have sexual fetish for muscular females) than from such prestigious modeling agencies, as Elite.

Many companies manufacture synthetic steroids as dietary supplements

King Mo Lawal acknowledged that he had taken a dietary supplement that was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients that were synthetic steroids. According to this fighter and his manager, consumption of this product caused positive for Masteron.
Lawal noted during an interview for MMA Hour that he had purchased “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This product was produced by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the situation, when steroid ingredients are not written. Synonyms of forbidden preparations are listed on the label of S-Mass Lean Gainer. Actually, these steroids were the subjects of several debates between anti-doping organizations and federal regulators since 2005. They are following:  2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These medicines are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. Thus, methylated version of Masteron was determined in the urine sample of King Mo Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
Anabolic Resources, a pharmaceutical company, was the first that manufactured Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was over 5 years ago. This company was charged with introducing of a new unapproved drug. Later Anabolic Resources pleaded guilty and acknowledged that they had sold a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement.  As a result, Anabolic Resources had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also initially appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against this pharmaceutical company for producing and selling this steroid. But the company decided to discontinue manufacturing this supplement in 2006.
However legal status of these two steroids is controversial, many companies have produced and sold them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. Of course, those that are involved in this industry know about the status of these supplements but they continue to offer them for sales.
The manager for Lawal says that the full responsibilities should be taken by the companies which market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. This person adds that such companies misguide consumers intentionally.

The American baseball player Ryan Braun confirms that he has never used steroids

However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for administration of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This man didn’t admit to usage of banned preparations. This player noticed that he had become a victim of a false positive. This person fights against the results that have been announced.
However it has been lately discussed whether users of steroids are allowed to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they do not forfeit their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted steroid users keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell claimed that Ryan Braun would be allowed to receive the MVP awards. Earlier other users of steroids were allowed also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these persons admitted that they had taken steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had elevated level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has indicated about exogenous type of testosterone. In fact, this test can’t show real amount of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was applied by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was applied carbon isotope ratio testing that confirmed about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Some sportswriters considered that Ryan Braun should have forfeited his MVP awards because of the positives for banned medicines. But this person made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false accusations in administration of steroids.  Ryan Braun noticed that characters of persons are revealed in such cases of adversary. This American baseball player claimed that he had a great respect to baseball. This player added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with great respect and appreciation towards baseball.
It was said that Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t feel needs to use steroids to be able to play. When this person heard about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was very surprised.  He noted that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about administration of banned preparations.
Ryan Braun made a decision to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. The baseball player announced that he would prove his innocence and false positives.

Alexandre Dougnier, a French cyclist, didn’t put efforts to avoid detection

Administration of anabolic steroids and other drugs that increase performance is widespread among amateur and professional athletes. It isn’t surprisingly, when athletes test positive for prohibited drugs. But there are certain unusual situations, when a person tests positive for many forbidden products. Here is a situation.
The teenage amateur French cyclist Alexandre Dougnier tested positive for over 10 forbidden medicines, including more than 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. This person has received 3-year ban from competitions.
It was defined that this person had taken such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites that were found in his urine sample included  3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This amateur cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Some individuals note that this young cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been claimed to be a famous individual of cycling’s history. He was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. He was the first cyclist that had won the Tour de France 5 times. This cyclist had received also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil took steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He said that it was impossible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. He mentioned that only a fool person would endure this agony connected with the extreme sport of cycling without performance-enhancing drugs. This famous cyclist noted that drug testing might deprive individual liberty. Jacques Anquetil said that everybody doped.
It is important to notice steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Intake of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for intake of anabolic steroids, it has become more widespread during past two decades.
Let see which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have been caught using them. When the cyclist Floyd Landis was caught using testosterone, it was argued by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were able to enhance performance in cyclists.  As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this affirmation. He mentioned that administration of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, any individual may administrate testosterone gels in a clever way without being detected by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone should take in consideration detection time.
Alexandre Dougnier wasn’t cautious and didn’t attempt to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suggest that cyclists would be tested for prohibited medications at the race in Aubervilliers.

King Mo Lawal and his manager claim that they are surprised by the results of the test

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t like each other. They didn’t show their negative attitude to each other for certain years. During an interview Lawal told about their relationships, noting that he doesn’t have good opinion about  Rampage Jackson that also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson expressed his thoughts about the fact related to Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson confirmed that it was quite evident that King Mo Lawal had used steroids. He said that King Mo wasn’t a true fighter. He administrated steroids to be capable to fight.
Rampage Jackson said that there were fighters that were allowed to take steroids. He referred to those who had to take steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This person noted that it was a great difference between needs. Fighters and other sportspersons are permitted to administrate steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to this fighter.
He says that there are persons that experience some health troubles. They consult their doctors that prescribe steroids. They use these products in order to become healthier and to stay competitive. But Jackson adds that there are fighters who administrate steroids in order to increase their performance. It is very sadly, according to this person.
Nonetheless, administration of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by sportspeople is a quite controversial question.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson acknowledged that they had used steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage Jackson is a fighter who confirmed about permission to use steroids as a part of TRT by sportspeople. But there are other fighters that don’t support this opinion. A lot of athletes have the same opinion as Michael Bisping has. They confirm that administration of steroids is just justified by therapeutic conditions. They proclaim that all fighters who use anabolic steroids, noting that they are on TRT, are cheaters.
Lawal says that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both King Mo Lawal and his manager claim that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
Fans were waiting for a fight between Jackson Rampage and Lawal. There were some rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the dreams of fans were not justified. Lawal must serve a ban.

Rousey and Santos fight on Twitter before the real fight

The UFC president Dana white proclaimed about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He noticed that it was related to positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. Dana White confirmed that this factor would promote the ending of the whole division. Santos lost her title. That’s why the president of the UFC came to the conclusion connected with the end of the division.
It is believed that the president of the UFC Dana White didn’t suppose which would be the response of numerous persons to the Winstrol metabolites that had been discovered in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a great war would start on Twitter between famous female fighters.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey who is the top of female MMA featherweight and who has obtained the bronze medal in judo noticed about her negative attitude to administration of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her thoughts about this question public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. She noted that intake of steroids was caused by uncertainty of sportspersons in their skills, strength and abilities. She explained that the decision to administrate performance-enhancing drugs came from the feelings that the individuals were not enough skilled to win in competitions. She added that administration of steroids and other related medicines manifested psychological weakness of users. According to this female mixed martial artist, this weakness promotes cheating.
Rowdy Rousey noticed about her attitude to the suspension of Cyborg Santos during different interviews. This fighter talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Santos had used banned medicines. This female fighter noted that she never had respect toward the steroid user. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was happy to find out that Santos had been caught and banned.
As for Santos, she became angry because of Rousey’s affirmations. She wrote to her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after successful serving of the ban by Santos. She thinks that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following words, referring to Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos posted a photo of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t post the real picture. Instead of it, she used Photoshop to exaggerate the damages which were inflicted by her upon Gina Carano.
Rowdy Rousey didn’t wait a lot; she responded to the comments and the image at once. She had harsh words for Santos, blaming her for lying and for posting  the photo, applying Photoshop.
Numerous persons believe that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than certain real fights. It is said that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos that will probably take place in 2013.
